Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Oathwise mobile app (the “App”), developed and published by Faiz Dae (“we”, “us”), topjow.org. By downloading or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What the App is
The App helps you study for the U.S. naturalization interview: the civics test, the English test and the Form N-400 process. It is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or any government agency, and it does not provide legal advice. For advice about your case, talk to an immigration attorney or a representative accredited by the U.S. Department of Justice.
2. Accuracy of the information
The civics questions and answers and the reading and writing vocabulary come from official USCIS publications. Explanations, practice sentences, answer choices and translations were written for the App to help you learn. Officials, fees and policies change; the App shows the date its information was checked. Always confirm current information at uscis.gov before your interview or filing. We work to keep the App accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free, or that using it will lead to any result, such as passing the test or approval of an application.
3. Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own study. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the App or its content except as the law allows, reverse engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
4. Oathwise Pro
The App is free to use. Oathwise Pro is an optional one-time purchase (not a subscription) that unlocks unlimited practice and extra tools. It is sold and processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms. Refunds are handled by the store under its refund policy (Google Play, Apple). You can restore your purchase on another device signed in to the same store account with “Restore purchase” in the App.
5. Content and ownership
Official U.S. government texts included in the App are public information. The App’s design, code, explanations, practice content and translations belong to us. The names USCIS and U.S. government agencies are used only to describe the official sources.
6. Privacy
The App keeps your information on your device and does not collect personal information. See the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any decision made by USCIS or any other agency, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App, if any. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
9. Apple App Store
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for any claims about the App, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. If the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
10. Changes and ending
We may update the App and these terms. If we change the terms, we will update this page and its date; continuing to use the App means you accept the new terms. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
